Features of the markets of different countries
As part of the 14th International Exhibition UzCharmExpo-ShoesStar-EurAsia-2023, events are held with the participation of foreign experts in the leather and footwear industry. In the business program, a special place was occupied by the International Round Table on the topic "How to effectively sell leather and footwear products in foreign markets: state support, customs, logistics, features of the national market."
The expert composition of the event participants included specialists from Uzbekistan, Russia, Latvia and South Africa. The speakers of the event shared their experience and knowledge with the participants in the issues of companies entering foreign markets, taking into account the peculiarities of trade in leather and footwear products abroad, compliance with the requirements for exporting companies and establishing cooperation on a white label basis. The leadership of the Uzcharmsanoat Association presented information on the achievements of the Uzbek leather industry and the existing potential of the industry, as well as state support provided to investors in our country.
The leaders of the National Shoe Union and the Union of Tanners and Shoemakers of the Russian Federation spoke about the existing requirements for footwear and leather products imported into the territory of the Russian Federation, the labeling system. And during the speech of the President of the Association of PPE Russia, it was about the specifics of the market for special footwear and personal protective equipment.
The general director of the Uzbek-Latvian Trading House informed about the possibilities of expanding exports to Latvia. In addition, the speaker spoke about the activities of the organization and the assistance provided to businessmen in the preparation of export contracts.
The Executive Director of the Union of Shoes and Leather Exporters of South Africa, in turn, shared her knowledge and experience in terms of effective entry into the markets of the African continent, the structure of imports and the required quality certificates.
